My Mum will turn 71!

On March 5, my Mum will turn 71! My mother is entering her seventies in the occupied village of Ivankiv, having stayed for almost 10 days with no electricity, water, internet supply and calmness; her most precious gifts - we, her children and grandchildren - being hundreds of kilometres from her, from the epicentre of our strength and warmth. She and dad have heroically been holding the defence of the house and the front yard, making compot and kysil from berries no longer stored in the broken freezers, the berries they were growing and gathering with their own hands for their grandchildren.

They’ve been cooking and treating neighbours, the lonely ones in particular… recently they have cooked a huge pot of fish soup and shared it with everybody… it's kind of so cute and so Ukrainian of them)) and even though my Mom won't read this post, just so you know: I am proud of her and I love her to the moon and back. I am sincerely grateful to her for the way she raised me, her kindness and her undeniable love! For the fact that I am Ukrainian, that I have my wonderful brother and sister.

Mom, my Mammy, hold on there! I love you! We will see you soon!!!

Those who will be able/willing to congratulate my Mum - transfer money to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, these guys will do everything possible, so that we can all see our Mums and loved ones in free and independent Ukraine!
